Thank you for organising the event, Karl.
We couldn't have asked for a more fabulous sunset to shoot. What a bonus it was to shoot the contrasty dark clouds-brilliant sunshine combination.
I'd better get cracking with my RAW files or I'll never finish before Christmas...
Regards

Really pleased you enjoyed the event ... even more so , when you travelled all the way from Basel again, and even brought more with you . Lets hope your pictures came out as well as expected. |

Hi,
not drink.....more looking at the pictures when i got home...and an 8:30 meeting this morning. So I only got a few hours sleep. I did not drink much so I felt perfectly ok....remember we did not get to Basel till 1:14 am.

Ian and Mr Slap head - very missed you'll were! Hope you feeling better slphd!
Karl - you have outdone yourself. FANTASTIC. Thanks so much not just for organizing this but getting started with this whole idea and pursuing it. Even with the limitations of a canon, I dare call you a genius. It was really, really super.
Nice to see new faces and meet so many nice people. Hilarious to see public reacting to us!
Last but not least, are you sure about just '8'? You wouldn't believe how much I had to delete/shift to make space on my laptop for all 298 'RAW' pics!!!!
10 pixels - I know just how you feel!!
Ryan and 7Elway no comments necessary on the '8' upload question. :P hehhe
Have a fun weekend all.

OK for this one special occasion, and knowing how good some of your pictures are , im going to allow you to upload 20 pictures from this meeting only. However i will be very harsh with the delete button if you dont come up to standard ... your all improving every week, and its fantastic to see the enthusiasm for the meets. Makes it all worth my while keep up the good work, keep practising , and some of you may yet be famous.. | | This user would like to thank Karlnmik for this useful post: | |

Well imho it really comes as an inspiration for all of us when we hear...abt 298 Raw pictures...and then shortlisting it to 42 and then again filtering it to top 20...its really the sheer enthusiasm that wins Karl's heart to push the limit to 20 this time..Thanks Karl and Arena!!!

I have to say that I am really amazed how much improvements we are starting to see on the people's photos. This club is for sure giving us a lot of learning!
Thanks again Karl for organizing, printing out notes for us and inspiring us |

Well to be honest with you all, you are all making huge leaps and bounds... if you look at your pics from day one and again the ones your taking today there is 100% improvement.. im so pleased with all of you , your enthusiasm , your willingness to try new things and your wanting to be pushed and to explore your limits, makes it all worthwhile for me .. its a real pleasure helping you get the best out of your camera. Thankyou all .. |
