Zurich Photoclub.
We are a group of enthusiastic photographers , some pro some semi- pro , but most of us just enthusiastic amateurs. We meet on a regular basis in Zurich city centre usually twice a month, to take pictures and show/help each other learn various photographic techniques. Its all very casual, a lot of fun and very simple , those with experience help those without….
We also organise the occasional day out to interesting locations. All member of EF are welcome to join us, it s free of charge . So if your interested in improving your photography , or simply want to know more about how your camera works and how to get the best out of it come and join us . It doesn’t matter if you have a simple point and shoot camera or a digital SLR there’s something for everyone at all levels.

A big thank you to all those that attended last night. Turned out to be a really great night , with some fantastic lighting and some great shots to be had. It was also nice to see people attending from Basel as well , hope you all got home safely. Keep your eyes posted for the next event, which will be a sunset sail on Lake Zurich .. after a visit to the historic town of Rapperswill ..

I still have a problem about the time of the next meet, a little too early for me. Will try to work out some details with my BOSS so that I can make it.

By the way, can I put my signature watermark on my pictures before uploading it on our Flickr Group page?

It nota problem nathan . Add your watermark, and as for the time , if your running late you can meet us at the bahnhof or at rapperswill if you can be there for 19.45.

Yay! Unfortunately, we're always releasing new stuff on Wednesday nights (that's what you get working for a US company) so I may be expected to work late that night. I'll check asap.

Just curious, btw: the invitation says "Cost 30chf (approx) 15chf mit halbtax". I assume this is for train & boat tickets. Does the normal ZVV NetzPass work on the boat?

the 18th is a thursday .... the costs are for the train and boat tkts.. the normal zvv netzpass should work if it covers the regions. So check with the train ppl before you leave.

I haven't been to rapperswil yet, and I might get lost looking for the right way. I will try and be there for the event, at least, before the train leaves Zurich HB

BTW, I will paste my pictures later, or tomorrow, I am just plane tired after my gruyere trip this weekend

I'm not sure if I can make it either before 18:00, it's fine to come early to work and leave at 17:00 so I can be in Zurich at 18, but earlier is on a gray zone... Hope it is ok, in worst case I'll meet you at the train station... I definitely don't want to miss this event
