Thanks to everyone who came out last night and made it our best attended event yet, with about 20-25 people during the evening.

Raj suggested a salsa place for the next event in a couple of weeks - anyone else got any ideas/opinions?

Yep, another very successful night. Great turnout.

A salsa place sounds good. Another possibility, if the weather is good, is to have a BBQ/picnic + beer/wine near one of the beaches at Vidy. Might make a nice change from being indoors?

Sound great...BBQ at the beach with beer...can't go wrong with that. But it has to be sat or sun noon. Also... Mary suggested the next outing to be on friday so that people can stay longer and turn out might even bigger.

I like the idea of a BBQ on a Sunday afternoon by the lake, or for an alternative week night venue we could try Tacos Bar for beer, pool & mexican food (it is just around the corner from where we were last night) http://www.tacos-bar.ch/

Well, sorry I've been gone for nearly 4 weeks and missed some events. But, it's good to see things are still going on and even growing!
I was looking for an event this Thursday, but I guess it's the off-week. Hope to see you all soon.

I just posted a thread (link to thread) announcing that we'll repeat this event on Thursday May 10th, with hopefully a BBQ in two weekends (May 20). I hope that everyone's wishes are incorporated in there somewhere.
