Dear friends,

As some of you know, CHILDREN-UA held an educational summer camp for orphaned Ukrainian children in June 2009. We managed to raise enough money at an event 2 months earlier in order to send these kiddies on a well deserved holiday. To find out more, please visit this website: http://www.children-ua.org/.

Now, it's time to start preparing for the next summer camp!

Our friends from the Musik Akademie in Basel would like to organise a charity concert for us. It will be an evening of classical music where you will hear pieces such as Chopin’s "Ballade №3 Op.47", Rachmaninoff’s "Six Moments Musicaux op.16", Henryk Wieniawski and many more. There will even be some Ukrainian music!

Entry is free but your kind donations to CHILDREN-UA will be warmly welcomed.

The night starts with a 15 minute presentation on the CHILDREN-UA’s 2009 summer camp followed by the 1 hour long concert.

Sounds like a very nice activity for a greater cause. Good luck with the raising.Wish i could attend, but live far from Basel.
