Bring and Braai - South Africans in Suisse Romande
This may not be the right place to post this so feel free to move if necessary.

Hi all

I thought I would post this for any new South Africans (or infact anyone who enjoy South African company;-) in the Suisse Romande area who haven't as yet heard about our annual BBQ.

I'm not one of the organisers but attend each year and have met some really great people.

When : Sunday, 13th May, 2007, starting at 11.00 am.
Where : Centre Aéré des Allevays (near Nyon).
Price : Sfr 20.- per family to cover overheads.
Food Arrangements : As usual each person brings their own meat to braai and either a salad or a dessert to create a buffet for everyone to share.

Fantastic idea, I would love to have joined but I'm in Zürich....

We having our own on Sat too, you gotta love those Braais.....

I'll keep checking up and make sure I get on over for the next one.....

Howsit?!?

I'm heading over to Lausanne (from London) for a 2nd interview in a coupla weeks time. If things go as I hope then we'll be based over there from a bit later on in the year. Pity we'll miss this one, but it's nice to know there are enough Saffas in the area to hold an annual braai! And you'll have the Super 14 semis to chat about from the day before too!

I've been trying to resurrect this for the last couple of years and have had very little interest - if there's interest, I could try again ;-)

As a fellow south african i would be very interested in a bring 'n braai... i live in zurich but will travel

I did stumble on this the other day... http://www.kapweine.ch/index.asp a south african wine online site in switzerland are having a braai and wine tasting on 29 May... i definitely know where i'll be that day
