Zed: Steinenvorstadt is the street that goes between Barfützerplats and Heeuwage, so there is plenty of trams you can take.

Hello

I would really like to come along to the book club. However I am unable to find the book. I have been to a few stores that sell English books, and have been able to locate other titles from the same author but not this one! Anyone have any suggesstions?

Probably too late now, I ordered it from amazon.co.uk. I got the hardcover book for 15 CHF plus 2.30 pounds shipping, really a good deal. I am a bit behind on my reading though

I'd lend you my copy, but I only have it in Swedish and German...but if you'd like to give it a try just let me know

Both Thalia.ch and Biderundtanner.ch say they can ship the English version within 2 days. Most likely the can also get it to their Basel store overnight or so if you ask/phone them.

I did come to Starbucks about 18.00 and waited for about 40 minutes. Could not see a table with books on...I may have missed you or come too early? I will try and come to the next one. Please could you let me know what the book is. I did want to meet you all, never mind there is always next time.

Sorry that you missed us, the official time was 19:00 - I was a few minutes late, but a few of the others were there on time. I hope you can make it next time instead, but be aware any of us are rarely there very much earlier than 7 - work and travel make it a bit difficult to be much earlier... I'll post the next event within short.
