almost got the critical mass of Thrillees ready.

Anyone else want to sign up. Will confirm details of first practice session (Bucheggplatz) when set.

I'll need to confirm the practice room and timings. But idea is that we can practice earlier on in the day and go for a few beers afterwards.

  • Begga - Sorry Phil. Too many plans, and too few days for them :( I will join next practice. LOVE Jackson and Thriller. Will practice at home :)
  • luminousmind08 - sorry Phil, last minute prep before Basel day trip and week in Morzine. Enjoy!
RSVP sign-ups for this event are now closed.

OK. I got the first 4 signed up. Need a minimum of 6. You know you want to!

Please RSVP if you're interested in doing this. The exact date/time of first practice needs to be confirmed still.

Re: Thriller practice session

don't worry if you can't dance. the routine is relatively simple. apparently the organisers of the world record breaking attempt could train people in 2 hours.

of course, they were professional teachers so we might need a bit longer, but we can take it slowly and practice over a few weeks. it should be fun!

be warned. i'm also planning to choreograph a special additional routine which will involve drinking alcohol!

Some training videos

Big brother choreo. Not the routine we will be doing but good to give a flavour of the dance!

..and youre sure dancing skills arent required? Because the only time I think I have those is when I'm drunk (and we all know I'm wrong)

Re: Thriller practice session

Ah I was looking for this thread some time ago, i thought it was 20. feb, not march.
We did some nice warm-up last Saturday, it is even more tempting to go now...
I think my neighbors hate me though....

Don't worry about the neighbours. Just make sure you invite them as well next time

Count me in Phil... this sounds too cool to be true
