Re: Everton Fans

Tickets now on sale via YB website

https://www.eventimsports.de/ols/bsc...ue/event/51271

Looks plenty in the stands and I just bought 1 adult / 2 youths for 120 CHF.

Avoid the simple click through to "best available" as this is method to get you to pay most.

Not sure who to support as the game is a treat for a young Aussie staying with us who wanted to see a big English team , and sadly Norwich haven't qualified for such events recently.

Re: Everton Fans

Many thanks Canary - tell him/her - we love Tim Cahill as he was brilliant for us....

Remember when Norwich played so well in Europe under Mike Walker, beating Bayern Munich I think. I was so made up when he took over at Everton....but history shows it was not a success.

All the best with the season fella, new manager and winning games so looks good for at least a play off position.

Will try to purchase a ticket using the link, but waiting on Everton to release allocation. Deffo don't want to pay a tout well over the fae value...a little over is fair but getting stung is a no go.

I might attend the game, I'm a Everton fan.

Tickets here for home end, areas of the stadium with a B are the away end.

Re: Everton Fans

I am really looking forward to a few days in Switzerland next week for the Young Boys v EFC game. Staying just over the German border in Basel so would appreciate advice of where to head for a few drinks (after 9.30pm) on a Wednesday night i.e. Weil am Rhein or Basel? Any helpful suggestions will be much appreciated.

Re: Everton Fans

Twas amusing to watch Chelsea fans in Basel a few years back, post match and sober Chelsea fans hugging a shared pint at Pickwicks, muppet eyed and staggered at the price of a beer, one guy bought a round of whiskey for him and his 10 mates, I almost felt sorry for him when he got the bill, no actually I relished the look of shock and awe and their creeping feeling of numbness when they realized that they had four hours until the flight back to blighty..

Between £3.50 and £4.00. So about CHF 5.50.

Re: Everton Fans

I was in Basel last night for a pre-Fasnacht meal with my clique at a Keller in Claraplatz (yes, the one under the kiosk-cum-pissoir).

Met a gang of inebriated Everton supporters on the train from Zurich to Basel who were staying in hotels in Kleinbasel so was happy to shepherd them onto the no. 8 tram and walk them to their hotel. Returning the karma from when I managed to lose my wallet in Liverpool last year and it got handed in completely intact.

Come on you Blues.

Cheers,
Nick
