Swisspea, you have been such a great customer and always promote my cheese, so as a thanks, anyone who joins up with your shopping tour on the opening day will get a wedge of Stilton or Westcombe cheddar on the house.
Thanks!

Hey guys,
Not sure if this helps but I live almost right at that tram stop. I'm mostly trying to help the 'outta towners' joining tomorrow.
If you're not familiar with the area, the tram to Dammweg isn't running because of repairs at Eschwes-platz (can never spell that).
The bus is running there though (I think it's number 4 and 13, same as the tram line numbers).
It's a bit more of a hike but, there is also the train at "Wipkingen", and you just follow the trainline back, walk back down the hill across the Damwegg footbridge, cross the road (keep following the tracks) and you'll be at the Damwegg tram stop.
Sorry I can't commit, but if I can make it by 9:45-10am, I'll see if I can see anyone at the tram stop.
Have fun guys, and I'll be looking for a group of people walking around holding cheese.
I really hope this helps, I just thought I'd let you know if you weren't aware.

Hope you guys linger so that those of us who don't wake up before 10am on a Sat can meet you.
For those coming from HB, I suggest getting off the tram at Limmatplatz and walking down along Josefstr or Heinrichstr to enjoy our wonderful hood with quirky shops and restaurants (and people).

So the trams must be running. I didn't know.

Thanks to everyone who has signed up....I guess for anyone who is running late, we will make our way slowly from Dammweg (Limmatstrasse) to Josefwiese/hardbrucke. We'll probably finish up around midday...
