Would anyone be interested in getting together for 8-ball, bowling, or even high speed karting now and then?
These are two places I go to since they speak German and French. If anyone would like to set something up in Bern, Fribourg, Neuchâtel or Biel, (Sorry, Zürich is too far for an evening) feel free to post the place.

If something could be arranged on a Saturday evening, Sunday or Tuesday I could possibly make it. The next 8 weeks are going to be rather full though as I am preparing to move.

Perhaps you're reading too much into the name. It's just an informal gathering of English speakers - mostly married or with partners - getting together for a drink. My ladyfriend normally comes along with me.

Anyways pool, go karting and bowling all sound like a smashing idea sometime. Especially if we can get a few people together.

Great idea! I know a handful of friendly locals who might like to join as well. Pick a date/time and we can give it a go...perhaps a Th, Fri or Sat evening for a better turn out? As for me...unemployed and potentially illegal, I am probably the most flexible.

I am aware of 8-ball game. Eight-ball is played with sixteen balls, a cue ball, and fifteen object balls consisting of seven striped balls, seven solid balls and the black 8 ball. After the balls are scattered on a break shot, the players are assigned either the group of solid balls or the stripes once a ball from a particular group is legally pocketed.

So they have pool in India where you live? great, when are you coming to CH for a game?
