Which Zurich Gyms include Powerplate in the membership?

Hi all,

Have done some searching in the stickys on this but cant seem to find the answer.

my question is: of all the gyms mentioned (Migros, Activ, McFit etc etc), which have powerplates for free usage as part of the membership? My wife and I were quite into that in London and would be keen to find a gym which includes that in the monthly fee. Holmes Place does not. Any ideas??

Cheers

Re: Which Zurich Gyms include Powerplate in the membership?

If Power Plate is your preferred exercise method, I think that you are definitely wise to check out it's inclusion in the mebership of a fitness centre before joining. I for one, like many others, have too rashly signed up for gym memberships, without honestly researching if the gym offers services tailored to my individual interests. Nothing worse than an underused, wasted gym mebership.

And yet, I think that you can shortcut your search for accurate information by going straight to the horse's mouth. Search on the internet for gyms that interest you, then call them or write them an email. English is definitely ok, if you don't know German. If they are not able to give YOU - a friendly, polite and genuinely interested customer -a definitive and binding answer for your question(s), give them the flick.

Good luck!

Re: Which Zurich Gyms include Powerplate in the membership?

Hi Guys

I can recommend PowerQi at Selnaustr. 33 (opposite Swiss Casino, Tram Stauffacher or Sihlstrasse). Very good service, very friendly... A little studio in the heart of Zurich, much nicer than the big chains...

They also have Yoga, Pilates for small groups which I actually prefer... Massages there as well!

Cheers

Re: Which Zurich Gyms include Powerplate in the membership?

Old topic but was thinking if anyone has noticed power plates on their gym in Zurich recently? Used to have one before moving to Switzerland and was quite disappointed that the gyms ive tried in Zurich so far dont have them. Not so much because of training but more because of excellent massage/relaxation for the legs after long (2h +) running sessions.
