Hi all,
Does any one know a ski shop where you can buy second hand skis/boots near ZH.

Re: second hand ski shop

Ski rental shops often sell older skis and boots, often at good prices and the opportunity to try before you buy. Just ask them. You would probably need to wait a little while though as most of them aren't open at the moment

Re: second hand ski shop

Not second hand- but pre-season sale at Dosenbach Marin (Neuchâtel) and perhaps others- for skis, boards and boots, now.

Most areas have pre-season sell or swap for second hand equipment- a bit too early yet. Our local French Decathlon also has a pre-season second-hand sell or swap a bit later in the autumn. If you do not know much about skiing- take someone who can advise you though.

Later edit- thank you BM- it is Ochsner, not Dosenbach.

Ochsner sport in the Maladiere centre in Neuchâtel has their 'summer ski sale' on at the moment. It always makes me laugh and wonder what summer skis are when I see that sign.

Re: second hand ski shop

Have a look at Ski Rental Zurich
http://www.skirental-zueri.ch/en/

They provide great service (in English), you can rent new/used equipment and can buy at end of the season (rental fee is then discounted!). A good way to test before you buy...
