Although I have lived in Basel for three years I have only just discovered this site and thought it might be a good way to find a few folk keen for adventures.
If you are a skiier, a boarder, a kayaker or a mountain biker then it would be great to hear from you. Having one of the best playgrounds in the world on your doorstep is brilliant but it can be a nightmare trying to get a group of folk together to actually get out and do something.
I'll ski anywhere and am happy to hike to get the freshies, I'm a solid class 4 kayaker with plenty of experience and I love ripping downhill on my mountainbike.
I'm not afraid of the odd beer either

Hi, I'm new to Switzerland and intending to make the most of the mountains. Think I'm going to try Engelberg first for skiing. My skis are serviced and ready to go. Will see what the snow does but will probably start the first weekend in December.
