Re: Wimbledon 2012

I heard it thru the grapevine that Nadal, after watching the second set on his fishing boat's TV on waters out of Mallorca, he has started preparing more cabin space for Federer, just in case he might want to join him this weekend

Re: Wimbledon 2012

Maybe Fed will not need Rafa's kind offer ... right now they are tied at two sets all.

Re: Wimbledon 2012

Roger wins in five sets, last was anticlimactic, 6-1.

Apparently only one major upset per tournament is allowed

It was very close but RF managed to escape French punching shots unscuffed. I'm afraid though if he keeps on playing like that, I cannot see him winning the major. Rosol will make bouillon out of him...

Who is Rosol

Oh, I guess he is the guy who Kohlschreiber just eliminated 6-3 6-3 7-6

Famous two days ago, material for trivia quiz today. Sic transit gloria mundi ...

Re: Wimbledon 2012

Lets get this clear, RF and RN are NOT friends...they will not vacation together, never.

Rosol? He played so inspired, but then RN was not 100%, he'd say. 1-match hero, lets hope he is not.

RF? He showed his perseverance. After the Rosol story, it is no wonder Benneateau also had his dreams and went for it. He deserved a standing ovation for taking 2 convincing sets from RF and then fighting til 4th set. And then his legs gave up the ghost.

It's all elementary, dear Watson...
