Mountain Biking Technique Classes

Hi all--

I am wondering if anyone knows of classes/coaching available in the Zug/Zurich area for improving Mountain biking technique (preferably in English, but if not, German will do). My husband and I could probably be categorized as strong beginners -- stong enough to get up and down the foothills in Switzerland--but lacking the technique to do a proper bunny hop or wheelie.

I'm thinking that a few private or small group sessions might be a good christmas gift...

Any recommendations? Thanks.

Re: Mountain Biking Technique Classes

Check out some local bikeshops and ask. The shop where I bought my MTB organises regular technique classes. This is Bern mind, but there is a fair chance that shops in your area could offer something similar.

This group
http://www.swissalpineadventure.ch/

is english speakers who set up a few rides each week (in acceptable weather) as well as many technique courses at various levels. Really good group, I've been out with them a handful of times.

Also for back-country skiing, avalanche courses and the sort (also in english).

A second for Swiss Alpine Adventure. I did the beginner/intermediate in September and really enjoyed it.

Yep, I've been on a ride with Dave (but not a course yet) at swiss alpine adventure too. Great guy, rides organized via meetup.com very organized. I think he's getting into ski mode now though.
