| thanks for your replies. does anyone know if the walk to the start of the Grindelwald run is a hard one? thinking about doing it with my parents who are more than able to walk but probably wouldn't appreicate a 2.5hour hardcore trek! | |

Grindlewald has a bit of a walk to the start.
Rigi is the best one near Zug. Not too fast but wide and nets on the cliffs and the start is right by the side of the train station. The Zugerberg run was a bit fast last Sunday for me with my daughter but there were many people there Friday night for night sledding.
The longest one i've done at night is from Fiescheralp - Lax - 13kms with a few avalanches that we had to walk around on the way.
The Preda-Bergün sled run is a bit flat in some places but some of the best scenery i've seen:

We got to the bottom and took a chair lift up and did the Darlux-Bragün - the fastest one in Switzerland.
