American Flag Football - Zürich Intruders, 2013 Season
Calling all American and Canadian Football fans who want to play flag football (that's the non-contact version).
The Zürich Intruders have two options for you to get involve and play:
1) Join us every other Sunday in Zürich-Wiedikon for pick up games. No fees, no commitment required, just show up and play your heart out with similarly minded football fans. Check the events calendar here on EF for dates.
2) Official Swiss League Team. Small annual fee due and commitment to make most of our 7 Saturday Tournament days in and around northern Switzerland from May thru September. There are 12 teams playing this season, so the sport is picking up interest. Who can beat the resigning champion St. Gallen Vipers this year? We provide uniforms and all the equipment you'll need. 2012 was our first League season, we're aiming higher in 2013.
Our league players also participate in the Sunday fun games, so it's one big happy family with two levels of involvement.
We have a great bunch of guys (and girls) with the Intruders and socializing after games is also a great way to make new friends if you're new to Zürich.
Feb 24, 2013: Our first indoor training session of the season is at the Crossfit Zürich center from 1 to 2pm.
For further details, please send a PM with your real world e-mail.

Pick-up game of flag football with the Zurich Intruders, but open to anyone and everyone.
The Zürich Intruders Flag Football team will kick off the new fall 2013 season in April and we play pick-up games to practice for the upcoming season. This is not a fixed league, we play for fun and all are welcome. This is non-contact football, no pads or helmets.
Suggest you wear cleats rather than sneakers, shorts and a T-shirt, bring a white and colored top and something to drink. We've been playing flag football for over six years in and around Zürich and are always pleased to see new faces and regulars alike.
If you need better directions or would like to take a look at the rules we use, just send a PM.

Re: American Flag Football - Zürich Intruders, 2013 Season
Hello all,
I am woman who loved playing flag football in America and played tag/flag rugby in Ireland over this past year. I am wondering if there are places for women in this league as I would be very interested in playing.
