Summer Swimming Camps for Children

Does anyone know if there is a swimming camp or classes in Zurich for children during the summer holidays?

Re: Summer Swimming Camps for Children

Try waterbabies. The use the indoor heated pool at kilchberg. English speaking.

I would suggest you email them directly to ask in advance , the rate for private lessons is not so expensive, if they don't have a group lesson that meets your needs.

Yes, contact Sandy Frey

sandy@powerhousechurch.ch

She is an amazing teacher for kids of all ages, and teaches in Uster and Opfikon. She teaches my son who is 3. I know she is running a summer swimming camp in Ofikon, but I don't remember anymore details, as unfortunately I through the flyer away as we can't make it. I would definitely recommend her though.

Thanks! Sandy taught my daughter how to swim too. She loves Sandy but my daughter has graduated to the club level. I am looking for someone to correct her strokes and also give her some tips on the Butterfly stroke.

Re: Summer Swimming Camps for Children

I can do all that!

I will be holding intensive Summer swim courses with my school, Waterbabies, which is located in Kilchberg.

The dates are yet to be finalised, but you can message me and I an add you to our list, and I'll advise you when the dates are set!

Oh, I can teach all strokes, including butterfly.

Thanks! I'll look forward to it.

FYI, my daughter is 10 going 11. Would she fit into the group? Would it be possible to help her shave some seconds off her swimming records?

Are you doing just babies, or do you do big kids as well?

Re: Summer Swimming Camps for Children

I'll have different groups, from level 3 to training groups. I'm even going to throw in a beginners synchronised swimmers course. We will advertise on our website and facebook page, Waterbabies Switzerland, when we have the dates and times finalised in the next few days.

Oh dear, we are away at that time. Could we do private lessons instead?

Re: Summer Swimming Camps for Children

I will also be available during the week before, to do private lessons and mini-groups (which are classes with up to 3 kids together, it could be a couple of his friends....).

The times for these classes will vary daily, as I have other course leeson during that week as well.

Uhm...she's already swmming 4x a week. I don't think I could squeeze in anymore swimming. Can we do it during the final week of the holidays, Aug 11-16?

Re: Summer Swimming Camps for Children

Ah, ok.

I won't be here in August unfortunately. I can give you the email address of my partner in the school, and she might be able to do some private lessons for you in August.

Let me know if you want it, as it's forbidden to post an email address on a thread.

H there,

Tried leaving a message on your website and sending a PM.
I would like to register my son for the swimming camp - could you give me a number where I can contact you.

EF members, if any of you have the team's number please PM me.
Also if you are looking for some provate classes, I am happy to join it so we can group 3 kids together for a lesson

Cheers

Re: Summer Swimming Camps for Children

Sorry, final weeks of the course means testing 200+ kids, rescheduling the new seasons timetable and registering, and teaching 6 days aweek.

I definitly am more jock than secretary.
