Hi, yes I see the group but don't see any links to join it or how to reply to the discussions within the group. Can you give some guidance? when I look at this discussion thread http://www.englishforum.ch/group.php...cussionid=9738 there are no reply buttons like there are on this thread...

Hi
TBH I'm not sure, perhaps you have to join the group or some sort of secret handshake thing :-)...I joined last year and cannot remember if I had to do anything special....

When I go to that thread I don't see a reply button but there is a text box available without having to use a reply button that I can type in and then a "post message" button below the text box. Do you not have that?

Re: Running Clubs in Zug

I think joining and posting to groups is restricted to established members. It might be that you need to fulfil the 1 week membership plus 10 on-topic post requirement.

You should still be able to read the group, and if you're participating here then it shouldn't take too long to get to 10 posts.

Thank you, i was just going to PM you to ask how people join a social group.
There is a join group button on the top left once you click on the social group. if njcoates does not met the established member criteria then perhaps they don't have that "Join Group" button.

So njcotes.... get posting :-)

Re: Running Clubs in Zug

Hi All, as far as I know there are no dates set up for 2015. To kick off I suggest we met for the first time on Thursday 19th Feb, Baar station at the benches just outside of Phoenix cycles. They are located on the Bahnmatt side or left side of the railway line (if you traveling in direction Zurich).
Currently we have a very small group (4) who run 3 or 4 times per week including weekends. Its social running and speed / distance vary between 5.30 - 7 minutes per km and 4 - 10 km in distance.

Re: Running Clubs in Zug

Looks like weather will be clear but chilly, if you joining dress warm and don't forget the reflectors or light. Probable (can change) run route from Bahnmatt up Inwil hill to the drinking fountain and back via glencore

Hello Agnes, thanks for the response.

TBH were not a "Club" as such..... just a bunch of runners / joggers looking to meet other like minded runners in the vicinity. Looking at the current group we should change the name to Baar runners .... there are about 4 of us and all living in Baar.

Let us know when you are ready

Re: Running Clubs in Zug

Unfortunately I'm developing a cold and wont be able to run tonight, in addition my other half has a late afternoon meeting and will not be able to make it either.

For next week I'd like to suggest we meet on Tuesday (24th), same time n place?
