Treadmill

Hi all,

I recently moved to Einsiedeln and I have a reasonable sized cold storage room on the ground floor of my apartment building it has a light and a power source and I was thinking of putting a treadmill in there do you think this would be ok? I used to be a keen runner back home and would like to ease myself back into it again. I had a look in the shop called athleticum and there was a fair selection of treadmills all at varying prices but I was wondering if I'd understand the programmes I'm starting a language course next week.

Any help would most appreciated

Thanks in advance

Re: Treadmill

Is the storage room for your exclusive use? If not, I doubt your fellow tenants would appreciate you pushing up the common electricity bill, and you also risk others having the odd joyride on your treadmill. If it's all yours, you will ultimately pay the (trivial) power bill through the annual adjustment to your Nebenkosten.

What do you mean by "cold storage room"? Is it refrigerated, or just unheated?

As for being wary of treadmills that speak in tongues, it can't possibly be that difficult. How many terms would you have to learn to adjust the speed, incline and a few pre-set programs? In any case, I wouldn't mind betting that most treadmills would come programmed with multiple languages, to reduce the manufacturer's selling and marketing costs. Just check the range at whichever sports store you want to buy from. (Look at Migros Sport XX, Dosenbach, etc., as well as Athleticum.)

Re: Treadmill

Hey 22 yards

The room is for my use only each apartment has one, at the moment I'm storing my suitcases in it its not heated and has no window but I don't pay the bills my employer does I never even gave them a thought will it be a lot if say I run 30mins an hour a day? Maybe I should let them know that I'm considering it.

Thank you for the names of the other stores I'll check them out and thanks for the reply it's most appreciated.
