Zurich swimming pools - cap or no cap?

I can't find any information on their website(s) so....

If you go swimming in Zurich, must you wear a cap? This is specifically for indoor swimming pools.

I think it's a no but want to check.

Ive been swimming to a Zurich pool without a cap.

excellent thread and thanks for starting it up, Sean!

there are amazingly no rules for wearing a swimming cap in Swiss pools but you can't go commando and have to wear a costume!

good luck and enjoy your swim!

Caps are not obligatory. I wear one to keep my hair out of my eyes.

Only women - if they don't want to get pregnant.

I wish it still was. It'd be nice to feel normal...

Me too. Tumble turns mean you always have the hair in your face after turning.

I think it was something to do with the filters which used to get blocked by hair. I also seem to remember something about a youngster who got her long hair caught in the suction bit of the filter system.. cannot remember where or when though.
