For anyone looking for a good day out wakeboarding / waterskiing/ kneeboarding, we've been up to Pfullendorf in Germany with my son and his mates a couple of times the last week. The wakeboarding is with the wire system, the circuit is a good size and there are jumps and grinds to use....if you wish
The prices are a lot cheaper than here in Switzerland, and you get your money's worth if you go for the day.
It's about 2 1/2 hours to get there, but if you make a full day of it, the trip isn't so bad. It's nice to give your car a "good run" on the autobahn, and on the way back you can stop off at Lidl or Aldi and stock up on a few bags of shopping.
There is a badi right next door to it, a good area for water play for small children, and the on site restaurant does good meals. The wakeboarding park opens all week from 12 until the sun goes down at the moment, then from the 11th September it's 3pm - sunset Mon to Fri and midday again at the weekend.
You can either hire the equipment there for a bit extra, or take your own boards and stuff like we do.
More info about it is here. http://www.wasserskipark-pfullendorf.de/index.php?Home
Have fun if you decide to give it a go.
