Is it just me or have the prices at Canyon also taken a steep rise in the last year?
Well, in MTBing Fabien Barel has been shredding at the Enduro World Series and all that. Bikes look good. High end stuff can be so eye-watering expensive, anything else priced "lower" looks like a... ehm... deal?

Ah sorry, yes.
"Enduro" is a big discipline in mountain biking nowadays. One of its heroes is this crazy frenchman, Fabien Barel, who happens to ride the hell (i.e. "shred") out of his Canyon bikes.*
Any bike that has "enduro" credibility commands premium prices as men are prone to spend irrationally exuberant amounts of money for their bikes.
Hence methinks the overall increase in prices (their top-of-line enduro rig costs 5'199 euro, and that is still a tame price when compared to say Specialized et al!)

OTOH I have no clues to eventual price development trends in Canyon's road bikes...

Paul
*corrige: Fabien resigned from racing on august 31st. But still remains a hero
