My partner (non French speaking) wants to go back to horse riding and I was wondering if anyone knew of an English speaking riding tutor in the Vevey/Lausanne/Montreux areas.

Equally if anyone lives in the same area and would like to have lessons at the same time (as it would be more fun with someone else) please let me know.

Hi! I'm in Morges and I'm interested to take some lessons, too. Haven't ridden in years, but been thinking about starting. Unfortunately, I haven't started looking around yet, so I don't know of any place in particular. But let me know if you find a place or want someone to take lessons with.

we are from Germany and we are moving to Lausanne in August. I don't speak any French, so I am looking for horseback riding lessons in English, too. I started again with lessons a couple of weeks ago after a break of 20 years . So, if anybody gets some information or wants to start an English speaking group, please let me know.

I was living in Leysin near Aigle before, it's about 40 minutes from Montreux by train and faster if you go by car.
I started my horse riding lessons there
My teacher speaks fluent english, french, and also German I think.
I"m going to go back there on September and going to continue with my lessons.

i live in Morges and would be interested in hacks etc. there is a stables up in Apples that I looked into last year but I never got around to it. If anyone is going to start up something though - count me in please! :-0

I would like to resurrect this thread and see if anyone has information about riding lessons around Lausanne.

I don't have a car and I'm looking for lessons in English. If anyone has any leads...

I've searched through forums and found some places that would be more convenient if I owned a car, or owned a horse.

I'd be VERY keen to join someone with some English lessons (or lessons in French if someone can help me get started!) I've been riding for about 10 years, and have had a horse for the last few, so moderatley competant! I have a car, just need to brave finding a yard!!!
