This might sound a bit unusual but hear me out.
I'm toying with the idea of starting an amateur garage style gym, similar to those found here
http://www.rosstraining.com/forum/vi...7520&start=315
The idea is simple - provide a ruff n tuff style gym favoured by martial artists/boxers/weightlifers etc. with some basic equipment where people can train. The only cost to users would be covering the rent of the garage so it runs kind of like a co-operative. The equipment would be geared to the non-conventional gym rat who likes a bit of noise in their workouts and who performs some of the more frowned upon exercises within the standard gym environment such as kettlebell exercises, jumping, Olympic lifts etc. If you know what I'm talking about here then you're probably a candidate. This would be in no way providing a training service to anybody - you should know what you're doing yourself and you would be training at your own risk.
As regards the garage itself, it would need to be in central Bern so I have no idea of the cost - if anyone can fill me in here regarding this I would be grateful. The equipment can be purchased by a group or you can bring your own and leave it there if you choose - like I say, in a co-operative social style structure. Equipment should include Bench Press, Power Rack, Pullup Bars, Weight sled, Prowler, Kettlebells, Punching Bag and sundries.
If anyone is interested in setting something like this up or has any criticism (positive or negative

) please post.
