Hi , I am shipping an antique full size snooker table to my home near Geneva from South Africa. It will arrive in many pieces!

Does anybody know if there are people in Geneva/Lausanne or thereabouts who know how to assemble the table? If so do you have contact details?

You should use a specialist experienced removal company. Don't ship such a wonderful item as that via the usual idiots. Such a company will be experienced in re-assembly and setup/alignment and care. It's too good to do on the cheap.

This could all end in tears down the Pickfords route... Do you really think those underpaid local workers in South Africa feel the same for your table, and have any clue about re-assembly or disassembly. Or do I fear correctly that the shipping has already been done ?

Try and contact Pot Bellys in Zurich, the owner is an ex professional and has imported several UK tables. He may have a contact for you. Else try your local Snooker club.
