Re: anyone want to play badminton?

Where exactly do you have in mind? I could join one Monday and see how it goes...

I don't play too casually (type A personality ) but am no talented player either, so should be good for a trial...

"Sounding" like a big player, that's something I learned from this forum quite fast

Monday is ideal for me, because other days I run or climb or rest. But if others want another day, that is fine, go ahead and share the plan here, and if it suits me i will come along.

I can often get away during the day and get back to work, pretty flexible.

Hello guys, So far I received some replies.thanks for your interests in badminton. Im thinking of booking courts for this Sunday afternoon, or next Wednesday or Thursday evening (depends on the availability).

this is where I play (Hardbrücke) It is 38CHF/45mins. So we will share the cost. Those who hasn't got a racket yet, I can bring mine to let try.

Are you guys in? Pls reply or PM

Cheers

There a several good badminton clubs in Zürich and they are a friendly lot. It's cheaper in the long run to play and you get the chance to play in the local leagues

Re: Anyone want to play badminton? [Zürich]

Had a great time at the BadmintonHalle last Friday. I was eager as it was one of the spots mentioned in the NYTimes reviewer's visit to Zurich. Global Fame! It's the American style bar and music that makes the scene.

I am not good; last Friday was my first time in 2 decades, but would be happy to join if the crowd is varied.

Re: Anyone want to play badminton? [Zürich]

I can do:

Mondays any time.

Tuesday, Thursday or Friday: during the day.

I would really love to get those sore muscles that one gets when you play after a gap of a few years

Let me know if anyone wants to pick me up as a trial partner for one day this coming week.
