Who would be interested in playing Gaelic football for a Zurich team??
Gaelic football is an Irish sport which is quite similar to Aussie rules but a round ball is used instead of an oval ball. Here is a sample video for those unfamiliar with the game.

Is anybody is interested in getting a regular game of Gaelic Football / Aussies Rules off the ground in Zurich for 2011?
The local GAA team Zurich Inneoin is joining forces with St. Gallen Bears to compete in the European Gaelic Football Championships later in the year and will be back preparing for the season soon - so this could be a good fit.

Gaelic Football makes a return to Zurich.
The first kick around / training session of 2011 will take place tomorrow evening Tuesday 05 April at Saalsporthalle Giesshübelstrasse 41, 8045 Zürich at 18.30

A possible first step beyond kick-arounds would be to organise a friendly at Saalsporthalle against our near neighbours - the 'Bears' from San Gallen
There are changing rooms,showers & lockers located at Saalsporthalle.
All are welcome, guys and girls from Beginners to Experts, if you have ever played, handball, basketball, soccer or rugby you will probably pick the game up very quickly.
