Hi Caroline, I do pilates once or twice a week and am looking for a pilates group - so far have been told there is a class in Montreaux, will follow up further when I actually get to CH permanently in Oct. Meanwhile if you have any info I'd be grateful.

Are you looking for a "real" pilates class, i.e. with the machines? If so, I only found one near Fribourg -- it would be great if there was one in Montreux as that is much closer! But there are "pilates" classes at the fitness centers/gyms.

My pleasure althought I have to say that I haven't a clue as to what pilates are ! It seems to be something to do with exercise so I shall try to avoid it !

Where did you find pilates with machines near Fribourg? I know they have classes at my gym, but I'm interested in private lessons. Any info would be great. Thanks!

There is a dance school in Fribourg that have pilates studio with the machines.

Usually I like to avoid it too. But, since the roundness is taking over, I need to get moving more. Anyway, pilates is great as it's not hard on your joints and when done well, it's very efficient.

There's been a boom in Pilates studios and gyms offering Pilates classes in the area recently. I can recommend Sabrina Tissot at La Tour de Peilz but you should try googling Pilates Vaud to see what's available in the Lausanne area.
