Ski/board Testing

Hi all

After too many years of riding the same old board I've decided it's now time to splash out on a new one. I've done some research and have a shortlist of boards I would like to try out. Can anyone recommend any resorts in Switzerland that have special days where you can go try out multiple boards?

I'm looking for something like the Snowsports Celebration event being held in Avoriaz from 9-11 December 2011.

There's definitely a board test centre in Laax and a few years back we always used to head to Saas Fee for their test weekend in early December although I couldn't see anything about it on their website so not sure if they still do that (it's a while back I'm talking now.... pre kids even eek!).

If it's a Burton board you're interested in there is the Burton demo tour - which goes usually to Laax and probably other places in CH too - google Burton Demo Tour and you'll probably pick up all the locations. You can try lots of boards and bindings too.

Thanks for that. I'll most likely just head to Laax early in the season and see what is available in one of the test centers there. For anyone that is interested, here is the link for the Saas Fee test weekends (a bit difficult to find it has to be said).

Unfortunately the Burton test days are not much use as I only recently got new bindings and they are not Burton compatible, but thanks for the info.
