Hey all, I have a friend staying at my place in Zurich this weekend and he is looking for some people to go hiking with. I know he will enjoy anything that takes him to the mountains :-) but preferably he would like to do some good peaks, possibly a bit of glaciers etc (he has crampons and all the gear and is experienced). Please let me know if there is anyone out there who is interested in joining him or if you already have plans and he can join you/your group. He is German but speaks great English.

Ive heard its a little late for hiking up in the mountains, but hey I don't have a set of crampons, so who knows. Im going to the Jura mountains on saturday, which is supposedly a little less snowy. There is a trip from meetup.com going. Its in the neuchatel area, so if he doesn't mind getting on a train for a couple hours, he would be welcome to join. Check the zurich hiking and outdoors group on meetup for details.

Check out our Facebook group "Zürich Outdoors Nuts". We can be hard core too, but no plans for this WE unfortunately. Will be trail running Saturday at elevation if that's your thing?
