First off, a great big "thank you" to all our players who made our 2011 season so much fun and we welcomed several newbies during the year who are now true friends and part of the Intruders community.

For the 2012 flag season (May thru September) we have entered the Zürich Intruders into the official Swiss League.

That means that we have 6 firm dates, 2 Saturdays in May, June & September where we'll play three games in a tournament style. This is a call to all who enjoy American Football without the pads and impact; flag football is widely played across the world and we use the IFAF 5 on 5 rulebook.

We have women as well as guys in our team and if you're physically fit and 17 or older, please get in touch via PM for more details or check out our Facebook Group page, suitably titled "Zürich Intruders".

The League is having a few internal dilemmas at the moment, so we don't have the 2012 flag schedule yet. I guess you're too far away to play in our team, but there are some closer to you.

The Swiss Flag Football League is now all set to play tournament games starting May 2012. The Intruders are the new kids on the block and looking forward to the new season.

We have some sports hall training sessions in Winterthur starting February 26 and a friendly pre-season tournament in Aegeri April 07.

The Zürich Intruders team is open to all who enjoy playing American Football without the injury risks of full contact. We have all ages from 18 through to late 40s.

We're playing indoors this Sunday at 1200 in Winterthur. I'm really looking forward seeing how we stack up against Swiss teams.

Are you going to join us? We all play for fun so come meet up with us. It is always good to meet new people.

We'll also be resuming our normal outdoor pickup games sometime in the next couple of months.

Thanks Motorschweitz buddy. We have ten for Sunday and after a warm up and some drills, we're onto the playbook and then a fun scrimmage. If spring is really here to stay we'll start our pick up games later on this month back in Wiedikon.

Not if I'm that safety. Lol. I steal passes from my own teammates, used to drive my coach nuts. I can't help it, when that ball is in the air, I feel like a shark going in for the kill. I can't wait.

Can't make it this week or next, but maybe in three weeks. I am still on the mailing list from last year but never made it out due to having a newborn son. My leash is little bit longer this year, lol. But still just as busy.
