We need one more participant to enrol for a beginner-intermediate ski course offered by Prime school, Engelberg. In this level, one should be comfortable to stop on wedges (snow-plough) in the least. We should then slowly graduate to parallel skiing. That is the goal

Course details:
January-series on Saturdays. 14., 21., 28. January and 04. February, starting at 9.15 at the bottom station of Titlis. Lesson duration is 3h and ends in the ski area.The price is CHF 350.

I am not interested in it, because it's too far away from Zürich, but I have a couple of questions:

Are these type of courses proper for 35yo or only for very young people?
Anddd, are the ski pass inclusive?

By the way, if someone knows a course like this for 4, 8 or 12 Days (1 day every weekend) or something like that, I would be very thankful. I live in Zürich.

Ski passes are not included. There is no age restriction.

The place is far for me as well (I come from Basel) but Engelberg is the closest and the offer here is good when compared to other places (including time and cost of travelling).

Not sure why you think it's too far from Zurich, but a significant proportion of day-skiers, and ski school guests, live in Zurich and clearly don't think it's too far to come.

There are a lot of train connections to get to Engelberg. That's what sbb.ch says.

I am one of the other people booked on the course and hoping that one more person will join so we have enough of a group.

I also live in Zurich and its not too bad a journey - 1hr 50min on a very pleasant Swiss train is better then an hour driving in my view :-)

For example the 7.35am stops only once (Lucerne) and arrives Engelberg around 9.30am and is 35CHF return (with a Halbtax card).

If you buy a "snow and rail" ticket it will work out even better as this discounts the overall amount by having a train fare and piste pass combined. Its usually about a 30% discount on buying separately

I am the other person in the course and thus posted here to find if anyone else were interested. I was told from the school that it would be better to obtain the ski pass for Trubsee before 9:15am so that we do not lose time in the queues at the bottom station. Have you procured the pass yet or do you have a season pass?
I have not yet gotten the pass and guess would have to leave Basel quite early to be able to get the pass in decent time.

Worth pointing out that you can buy your lift pass at the main railway station there's never a queue. So even if you're driving it's worth swinging by there first to get the lift pass. It's just opposite the Ski School office anyway.

I think once you have been once to Engelberg and keep the lift pass card ( instead of cashing in for chf 5) you can buy your lift pass online.

Yes, we just found this out recently, so now keep a couple of spares for visitors at busy times.

Yes that is true. But with the chip card one can only load it for season passes or a day ticket for the entire Engelberg region (60 CHF). What I need is just the Trubsee pass (34 CHF) and this is then the normal paper ticket.

mmmm, what tracks "Pisten" are available with this ticket? Grenn and blue ones?

I've considered what you say, and you are right... The problem is that I have to be out of Zurich some weekends of january... I will consider it for later.
I know the basics, but I need to improve my technic.

Referring the Engelberg ski run map, with the Trubsee pass we have the red and blue runs.
