I am an experienced snowboarder who just moved to Switzerland and am looking to start backcountry snowboarding.

Anybody know of any good Avalanche courses? Or good locations for freeriding or off piste riding?

I read a great article once (might have been in the Swiss inflight magazine) about a backcountry course which starts in Flumserberg. It sounded and looked great. Sorry I don't have any links, but try googling it.
