Skiing Grindelwald - Männlichen - Kleiner Scheidegg

Thursday - 6th

With all the fresh snow that we have been getting over the last few days in the Bernese Oberland, am looking to head out for my first foray of the season to Grindelwald area.

Todays weather.

Weather Kl.Scheidegg-Lauberhorn alti 2200 m
Temperature -7
Depth of snow - 50cm
New snow - 15cm
Type - Powder
Today - low cloud, heavy snowfall
Only 60% of lifts are open, but should be very empty. Anyone eklse have some days they need to use up & would like to join ?

Re: Skiing Grindelwald - Männlichen - Kleiner Scheidegg

Saturday-Sunday would do for me. I was planning to go to somewhere in Zentralschweiz but what the heck, a little drive will do no harm.

EDIT: You probably ment thursday like it says in your post. That will not work for me but please let us know how it went. I might still go for the drive on the weekend. Thanks!

Did you go?

How was it?

Am looking for somewhere to go tomorrow. Engelberg was top of my list, but has been closed today due to strong winds, which look set to continue for the weekend....

Any insights re snow conditions, how many lifts were open etc, would be gratefully received

thanks
