Children up to the age of 16 living in the commune of Leysin only pay Sfr. 50.- for their winter ski pass. This has been offered by the commune for the last two years and is very much appeciated by the local parents (The cost for a family of 4 used to be very expensive).
Anyone know of season passes for federations of ski lifts? Wouldn't it be cool to have a pass for ANY lift in CH? Perhaps there are groups of areas that offer season passes.

There are others available for different regions as well.
This is a region pass. I wanted to spend a week of skiing in Wallis, then ski locally for the rest of the season. I was hoping to find a pass that is valid for both. (I'm trying to get my cake and eat it too).
Some resorts offer a sort of reciprocity deal. eg the Gstaad ski pass used to be valid in Leysin, Villars etc. I'm not sure what the deal is now though...

Is this like a trade-in, or an affiliation program?
If I sort of remember I handed my season pass in and they swapped it for one for the length of time I was in the (other) resort. I don't know how it works now with the new Skidata system etc. This was about 15 years ago when I was a skibum musician playing in all the bars and drinking way, way too much and having the same amount of fun so the memories aren't that clear anymore!!!
