I know of a few people in Basel who are also interested (Caroline where are you?) so we may be able to organise a Zurich v Basel game.

I'm a GD or GK (at a push) with a mean zone defence. I had one game about 3 years ago and was completely shocked that it didn't actually kill me! Otherwise I haven't played (or coached) for years but I recon none of you GA/GS's would get by me

Our game got cancelled.
On the positive side, at least I can still walk.
(My last game was in 1997, so I was a bit worried that I would break myself somehow.)

Count me in for a Basel team! I'm reasonably tall for a "lazy" position but I will happily run all over the court if required. It'd just be great fun to get a chance to play!
It would be fantastic if we can get teams in different places together. Does anyone actually know of any netball courts in Switzerland?!

I've never heard of or played netball before. I used to play volleyball and floor hockey and I miss the camaraderie of team sports. If the Zürich team needs players I'd love to give it a try. I'm short, but determined.

Sounds like we could easily organise two teams to have a game - but where would we find a netball court?

We might have to improvise but either using basketball hoops of placing two people as goalposts to catch the balls.

I'd also love to play in Zurich. Also was last a GK - although at the time I was the tallest and now I'm only average so more likely to be WA/WD. Last played about 8 years ago at a work do, men make a good addition to the team!

This is just a fyb idea. I am in Zug but would come to Zurich for this. Used to be GS but have not played for 15 years. I would not be able to walk afterwards, but hey, what good fun!!

Ok well, I'm currently out of Zurich but get back on Thursday early morning and will then have a scout around for a venue... so I hope to make create an event so that people can rspv that way we have a better idea on numbers

There are some netball looking courts on the way into Dübendorf...past them on the train as I was coming out of Zurich, on the left hand side.
Kids were using them on the weekend, so I guess they are free.
