I'm an avid volleyball player and am wanting to scope out the scene here in Zurich. Does anyone on here play, or have any tips about where I should go to find people that do?

Look at the ASVZ site, http://www.asvz.ch/index.cfm here you can find info about almost all sports you can do in switzerland.

I sure do. You may want to check out this thread. I irregularly train with a Volero team on Thursday nights.

There's a beach volleyball court as well if that helps. No idea re contact details or name or anything, but it's out near Rote Fabrik night club...
