With the sun, the urge to play beach volley has come out as well. I've heard that there's afterworks games going on here in Zurich that are free to all, but I have no idea
- where?
- if they are open yet or when it starts?
- if they are for all levels (I'm not thát good)
- if anyone else here would be up for teaming up and playing. Would definitely be less scary to join the cool people if I weren't alone.

i d love to play some volley ball again too. if we could set up something i d be up for it. most school playgrounds will have a court too, the question is just if the nets are up or if they are using them for long distance jumping

I guess the best option is to make a poll for dates and times, I would suggest one evening after work around 7pm, maybe a monday because it wouldnt be so busy, but thats just an idea.

I think we could get enough people to make it happen.

The place is called primitivo, across the river from pier west. Both places are good spots for outdoor parties (BYOB or pay at the bar) and sports with two sand courts, a mini skate park and swimming in the river ( if your brave enough you can jump off of the bridge) You'll know your there when you see all of the graffiti. Great alternative hang out place.
The best time to go to play is mid week. The weekends are packed full of people.

Don't have a ball as of yet, but will buy one this week.
I was planning on checking out the place tonight and then setting up a calendar entry soon. Monday nights after work sound good indeed.

A ball would only cost about 30chf anyway.

How about mondays at 19:00? I work there until 18:00 M-F so I can stand in and reserve a court for us. But I can't stop people from playing if no one is there on time, I can however call next game while we wait for people to show up.

I would love to play too! I just need to make sure hubby is home in time to convince the kid to go to sleep. Unfortunately my ball got stuck in the rafters in the gym back home and when it came back down, it walked away with someone

I forgot to add that you can get a massage there as well, (starting in two weeks) its on the sun deck above the bar. The masseuse is fabulous

My post yetserday never made it, so here is a meaningless post to say I am in. There are also some nice courts on the West side of the lake down a ways. Another option for weekend play.

Its now been scheduled as an event so add you meaningless response to the RSVP. And bring a bottle, which we can drink while you demonstrate you athletic physique to the ladieez.
