why not join a local team?

I have been living in Nyon for the last three years and joined a local team immediately after moving here. I played in the 3rd league which they see as a pretty decent standard, so much so that they insisted on training three times per week which starts to become unenjoyable. Turns out this is the case for the two lower leagues as well.

What we need is a group of keen guys to meet up once a week for a kickaround and then progress from there should we have enough people and enough quality! If not, we play for fun.

I'm keen to get something going maybe in Rolle area (between Lausanne and Nyon where people seem to live).

Although I speak French, playing football just isn't the same unless you're marshalling your defence in true English style!!! In French it just doesn't work!

JK5, I live in Nyon and am keen for a run about, I can even bring a ball!!!
Really a rugby man and will be playing for Nyon in September but definitely keen for a few friendly games! PM me if we get enough interest!

I'm happy to throw my hat into the ring as well...I am dying to play some pickup footy in the Nyon/Geneva/Morges region...I joined a local club just for the training but the enjoyment factor diminished coupled with not wanting to interrupt match preparations for the other club players...I just don't care for official matches & tackling etc...Just some clean wholesome footy on a regular basis

Again, echoing many of the previous replies, I too am looking for a 5-a-side team / kick-about to get involved with.

Will be working in Lausanne shortly, so if there are options I'm keen.
