Water sports on the Vierwaldstaettersee (Lake Luzern)

Now the weather is nice, I've got to find myself some more summer activites till the snow arrives.

I recently tried sailing and wind surfing back in the UK, and wondered if anyone knew of any clubs in Luzern that could give me some courses and hire me the kit, anyone have any recomendations? the Rotsee is also close by.

I don't ever recall seeing any sailing dinghies on the lake, but I dimly remember seeing some wind surfers out there.

Watersports are banned on the Rotsee, except the rowing regatta once a year.

I have posted quite a lot on windsurfing in various areas of Switzerland in the past so a member of your stature should have no problem finding it. If you have any specific questions just ask.

I would stay away from the main rental place on Urnersee though... Cowboy is one word that springs to mind!
