Hello all, back from the U S of A....what a great time!!

Im sure there are several people who can help me here, this is what i am after:


Scuba diving lessons in a pool, in or near Zug.

Classes need to be for a 12 year old. (can 12 year olds even go scuba diving???)


Hit me with your rhythm stick, falling that, information & links to sites will do.

Check out www.profundo.ch - in Baar. they have a course starting next week - course includes five theory lessons, five pool lessons and five lessons in the lake. They state that minimum age is 15 but that from age 12 they can issue the "Junior Brevet".


Der Kurs besteht aus fünf Theorielektionen, fünf Hallenbadlektionen und fünf Lektionen im See.
Bei erfolgreichem Abschluss des Kurses wird Dir ein Nacht-Tauchgang vom Profundo-Team geschenkt!
Kursvoraussetzungen:

• Mindestalter 15 Jahre (ab 12 Jahren kann ein Junior-Brevet ausgestellt werden)
• Tauchärztliche Untersuchung nicht älter als 12 Monate
  einen geeigneten Arzt in Deiner Nähe findest Du bei SUHMS

I think thats probably a bit full on for a 12 year old. I was after something a bit more low key like a one off trial.

Try the Scuba shop in Kappel, can't remember how good there English was when we bought some gear from there a while back but they were very friendly and helpful.

your 12 year old could do the PADI Junior Open Water course and convert it when he/she is 15.
