Hi everyone,

As the summer starts winding down, we thought it was a good time to remind everyone that the Lugano run/walk group meets 9am Sunday mornings at the Eden Hotel fountain (Paradiso end of the lake) and we're always happy to see new faces.

There is normally a small group of runners and another of walkers, and we cater for all levels of ability.

The group leaves by 9.05am and returns to the same spot an hour later, usually followed by a caffè and brioche nearby. However if a morning jaunt isn't your thing, then come just for the caffè!

Some of our runners are planning to enter the StraLugano 10km on Sunday September 21, then the Ticino half-marathon in early November. Plus we hope that lots of people will turn out for the Terry Fox 5km walk/run on Saturday evening September 20 which is a great family-
friendly event.

Hello,
We are thinking of moving back to Switzerland having lived near Basel for 10 years.
What is it like living in Lugano? How big is the English group?We may be at the Eden in two weeks time so may take the opportunity to meet up for the 10am Sunday coffee. Is there the sort of warmth of feeling that the Italians have? Or is it very traditionally Swiss?
