Sorrry, I don't know of any hard details, but up near ETH Höngg there is often people riding on the walking/jogging paths. So there is definitely the possibility!

There is a riding school in Albisguetli, close to the end of the tram 13, called Kolbenhof (http://www.reitschulekolbenhof.ch/). I have not tried it out myself, so I am not sure how good it is.

my soon to be niece offers riding lessons at her stables but she doesnt speak english ( only german and swissgerman ). I do however and I could also teach you, the oly catch is that it is in Rueti. But i have to drive from Bremgarten to Rueti via Zurich so transport shouldnt be that much of an issue.

I was wondering if anyone has had any luck finding a riding facility that's easy to get to from downtown Zurich.

I'm here working for two months and own my own horse and compete in the hunter and jumper circuit in Bermuda. I've been riding for 25 years and am hoping to be able to ride on weekends when I'm here.

there s some riding school near Kloten which teaches in English, but I dont know what it s called.isnt too hard to get to from zurich city.

I guess you found someone already? Im here in Zurich for the long term, have ridden all my life, had my own horses and exercised other peoples, would LOVE to find someone who needs a hand with exercising their horse...

I've just moved over here to Zurich and am expecting to be here for the long term. I work in Zug. I used to ride a lot - had my own horses, competed (eventing/SJ), etc but I haven't ridden for a few years. I'd like to get back into it and explore some of the local countryside on horseback. I'd be keen to hear from anyone who needs a hand with exercising / looking after their horse(s)?..

I'm looking to relocate to Zurich from London and I wondered if anyone had any suggestions of good stables in or around Zurich. We haven't decided where abouts to live in Zurich yet so any suggestions are very welcome. I would need to find a yard where English is spoken, even if it's just a bit, otherwise I'd be a bit lost.

I'd like somewhere with good facilities for jumping and schooling, preferably a yard where there's an interest in going to showjumping or eventing competitions and training and a friendly atmostphere.

It would be great to hear any suggestions or recommendations and also any insights on the equine world in Switzerland as an expat!

This place is just outside Zurich and definitely has an interest in showjumping as there is often competitions held there, sorry don't know if they speak english at all.
