Recently moved from UK, looking to play some football, outdoors, 11-a-side!

Anyone know where I can find a football team that is looking for a player or two?

I know its cold, but theres nothing like a game of footie on crisp sunday afternoon grass!

If anyone organises casual football games or a kick-about on the weekends, it will be greatly appreciated! just need to get out there with a ball!

FYI footylist haven't had a game since September: Not enough interest.

no way, thats a shame, but how many players are you short? (on average) i can try find some!

IMO There is a much higher chance of getting a 5 vs 5 downtown game going:

We have managed to play pretty much every Sunday since August.

You are welcome if you want to try it out...If you bring extra players you can register them as "guests" for the event.

We'll be training over winter, but games only restart properly in the spring.

when do you train, many english people on the team? im interested!!

Yeah, the team is roughly 50-75% ex-pat, the rest Swiss, is a good balance.

Training is on Tuesday and Thursday nights.

If you contact 'BoyD' from the forum, he should be able to set you on the right track for joining up etc etc.

Are you playing 5-a-side this weekend? Might come along to that!

Are there any 5-a-side or 11-a-side ... games for oldies wanting to get a bit fitter and having a bit of banter .... being 37 and knee and ankles can't play at a high standard .... but really miss having a game and the social life ?
