Heya
Ok so the update on Rämi is after seeing another vet and having many more xrays done ( god this horse is costing me a small fortune

) it turns out not to be kissing spines(

) but something else that still requires alot of work.
As for lessons it will be at least March before I could give lessons using her. I still need a few months to build the muscles required to carry a rider. And as she has just had a month off due to a kick injury recieved from another horse that she is paddocked with the plans are now set back even further. But with an almost clear bill of health from the vet I am feeling very positive that she will make an almost complete recovery..WOHOO!!
Though unfortunatly when I can use Rämi again there will have to be weight restrictions due to the back problems, so I wont be willing to put anyone on her back heavier than 70kgs.
efarly - I know of only one good place to learn jumping but you do need your own horse, though I am sure that there are others around where you can also rent a horse. This place in Rüti ZH - ( I havent been down there for a while but..) they were running a class on a Tuesday evening called "Horse Gymnastics". They would take horse and rider through basic small jumps over cavelletti and barrels etc and working on the paces approaching jumps etc. Classes ran for about an hour for 6 weeks.
There is also a stable in the next village to me ( Tägerig AG) that rents horses for lessons ( a neighbour of mine is learning there) I dont know though if they do jumping classes but it would appear that they are building a new jumping arena ( not 100% sure on that though). I will ask also at my stables if anyone knows of a place and I will let you know.
KitBoyE17 - slow and steady wins the race ( apparently )
Enjoy
