Hi, I just moved to zurich and have never been skiing. I'd like to book a lesson next sunday near zurich (oerlikon). Does anyone know where I can find a decent beginners class (hopefully not full of kids) at a reasonable price.

for areas within easy reach of Zurich, and then call / email the ski school in the area that takes your fancy.

Alternatively, you could also contact Zurich International Ski Club.

The International Ski Club Zurich (ISCZ) ski school finishes next weekend, although there is talk of further courses in March, but that is not confirmed. I've no idea at what levels they will be, but the gist of the conversation was follow on courses. I'm a member of the club and on this course (total novice) I can say our instructor is great, his name is Joshua and works for http://www.flumserberg.ch/sssf/en/home/ and can be booked privately through the school.
