Re: Mountain Biking Trail with "boardwalk"

Hey Cool,

Go over Gubrist instead of through the tunnel!!! That would definatley be more interesting even if it does take a little longer!

That site has some other cool tours, one that I can even do from my own front door,... thanks for a new bookmark Yokine.

Re: Mountain Biking Trail with "boardwalk"

Back to the original question of this thread, I found this link whilst planning my next hiking getaway. More health insurance damage for DaveA :-)

Re: Mountain Biking Trail with "boardwalk"

Coming up shortly in Bern is the Swisspower Cup which runs licensed & unlicensed races on 4th & 5th August.

Gives you an idea of the "fun" available ....

Re: Mountain Biking Trail with "boardwalk"

Fun in the trees ... no dogs, no ramblers ... Gurten, Bern

This is the whole route down from the Gurten Bahn back to the Gurten Bahn ...

they tend to reserve one carriage on the funicular purely for MTB's ... there are a number of other less challenging trails all over the Gurten for beginners up to Mad Max boy racers.
