Does anyone know of any indoor rock climbing places in Basel? I've never climbed but interested in trying it out...please email me if you know of any places/classes or fancy trying it out..

I am interested to go for Indoor climbing in Zurich. Though I have never done it before but I am keen to try it out. I will be happy to patch up with others who might be interested to go out with me. Hope to hear from you guys.

This is apparently one of the biggest climbing centre in Switzerland. I will keep you folks informed. It will be cool if some guys with more experience could join us.

If you guys have never climbed before you will need to do a course to learn the ropes (pun intended ). You need to learn how to tie on safely, belay etc. Maybe one of you German speaking folks could call them & inquire about when their courses are on. If you are going to do the course I may well join you, it's been a few years since I climbed & would love to do it again.

never tried it before...but wat de heck...

A friend of mine is coming along with me, who has done climbing before, she told me that she can guide me/us through the basics but yeah a course might be a good idea & I just hope its not bloody expensive as we will have to rent of the equipment + the entrance anyways . ( pinches my student pocket!)

I have been there a couple of times, and it's a very nice place to go climbing. I consider myself a begginer and it's been quite some time since I've been there, but it would be nice to start doing it again. Please let me know when you plan on going there, I would really like to come along!

I would also love to give it a try and me and Twiggy also have a friend who would probably be interested.

I guess they'll rent the gear if needed. I have my own, though.

don't know how many you've got, but i'll come along if you're going during the week. i used to go to the Castle in London sometimes, and it sounds warmer than the jog i went for last night!
