Zurichsee boat rentals?

Hey folks,
Anyone ever rented a boat for a few hours during the summer time to cruise the Zurich Lake?? I'd like try it this summer if it's affordable, but have only found the http://www.zsg.ch/ website that lists it's cheapest 150 person boat at 2,760 CHF for 3 hours. Ouch! I was looking for something much smaller and much cheaper. Chartered or not...
Any ideas?
Thanks! Jill

Sailing or motorboat?

Do you have a license?

Not too sure about the Zurisee but on the Walensee, I think you can charter from them http://www.segelschulewalensee.ch/

I ws quite intrigued by those sit-on canoes. They are made of PVC and and very wide and stable. The best thing is that you can carry it on the car roof and throw it into the lake for an afternoon of laid-back-hat-on head-straw-in-mouth bronzing.
